Biology is Neato.

And that’s what I want to share with people.

This all started in about 2014 when I built my first skeleton. It was a Merlin (Falco columbarius), and it was all wrong. But it started something.

Everyone knows that nature is beautiful, but nature is also gross. And sometimes to find that beauty you have to deal with some grossness. Thankfully, I don’t mind gross! My goal is to hopefully share the sometimes hidden beauty in nature that people might not otherwise see.

All the specimens I work with were dead when we met. I don’t kill anything for the purpose of making my art. Sometimes they died naturally. Sometimes I just save them from going in the garbage.
